FastMed Urgent Care recognized at 2013 eHealthcare Leadership Awards for Best Overall Internet Website
FastMed.com recipient of the Gold Award at Healthcare Internet Conference in New Orleans
Clayton, NC – December 5, 2013 – FastMed Urgent Care’s website, www.fastmed.com, received Strategic Health Care Communications’ Best Overall Internet Website Award at the 17th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference November sixth in New Orleans.
FastMed.com was selected out of more than 1,100 entries, receiving a Gold Award for a combination of website design, usability and relevant content. A total of 121 judges with experience in healthcare and internet marketing reviewed all entries. 260 healthcare organizations, representing a broad spectrum of healthcare services, received recognition for their websites and digital communications.

Judges looked at how websites and other digital communications compared with others in their organization’s classification. They also reviewed entries based on a proprietary multi-point, 40 factor standard of Internet excellence. Awards winners represented 17 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies.
