Kevin L. Blank
Chief Executive Officer
Kevin has more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles for a range of health care-related businesses, including managed care, disease management, venture capital, practice management, and IT. Kevin served as Executive Vice President of Evolution Benefits, an innovative electronic payment solutions company for the employee benefits market. Prior to that, he was president and COO of BenefitPoint, Inc., an employee benefits technology firm. Kevin also served as managing director of the Internet HealthCare Group, a health care IT-focused venture capital firm. Kevin’s previous medical center leadership experience also includes being president of Women's Health USA, CEO of Women’s Health Connecticut, and a senior executive at Value Health. In his free time, Kevin is a volunteer with an organization that provides hospital care to patients in third-world countries.
Kyle A. Bohannon
Kyle has held leadership positions in the private equity, investment banking and health care sectors. He previously spent multiple years in the private equity industry with HarbourVest Partners, LLC in both Europe and the United States. Upon joining HarbourVest's Boston-based direct investment group, Kyle relocated to London to help establish the firm's international direct investment team. His leadership responsibilities included identifying, closing and managing leveraged buyout and growth equity investments across multiple industries. Additionally, Kyle was actively involved in the capital raising process for the firm's fifth international direct investment fund. Previous experience includes several years in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley, where he focused on both mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Kyle received a BA in Political Science from Amherst College, where he was a four-year member of the men's varsity lacrosse team.
In addition to serving as Chairman of the FastMed Charity Committee, Kyle is active in the community as a leader within the Special Olympics organization and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training.
Chief Information Officer
Paul has held numerous technology leadership positions (including three CIO roles) in his more than 15 years in the IT field. In these capacities Paul has built several effective IT teams for small and large organizations. His breadth of experience ranges from start-up firms to “Big Six” consulting to business IT responsibility for a Fortune 50 health care organization. Paul has experience in a variety of industries including insurance, third-party administration, medical centers and health care provider practice support. At FastMed Urgent Care Paul’s duties include management of all IT related infrastructure, applications, and partnerships. He is responsible for providing internal and external technology resources and ensuring secure and reliable access to all of the firm’s information and services. He holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut; he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island. Paul and his wife are proud foster parents through the Connecticut Department of Children and Families.
Michael P. Dunn, MD
President and Chief Medical Officer, Arizona
Dr. Dunn is a Board Certified Family Practitioner in the State of Arizona with 12 years of medical experience in Family Practice, Emergency Care, Surgery, and Urgent Care. Dr. Dunn served as the Medical Director for Tri-City express care for 7 years prior to their acquisition by FastMed in 2011. For two years during this period, he also served as the Chief Medical Officer for Medi-Min, a group of medical clinics operating in partnerships with retail stores throughout the Phoenix area. Since the year 2000, Dr. Dunn has served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Surgeon in the Medical Corps.
Dr. Dunn received his BA in Spanish from Arizona State University and received his MD from the UAG College of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was certified to practice medicine in the United States through the Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College. His residency in Family Medicine took place at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as part of the Urban Underserved Program where his near fluency in Spanish allowed him to work as a translator for many patients.
Dr. Dunn volunteers his time as a private pilot and doctor to the Flying Samaritans organization. This group provides volunteer staffing of physicians and pilots for free clinics in Mexico.
Melvin G. Lee, MD
Chief Medical Officer, North Carolina
Dr. Melvin Lee has served as Chief Medical Officer for FastMed Urgent Care in North Carolina since 2007. He is a Board Certified Family Practitioner (Canada) with 26 years of experience in Family Practice; Obstetrics, Urgent and Emergent Care, and Occupational Medicine. Prior to joining FastMed Urgent Care, he served as the President of Metro Memphis Physicians Group – a network of six urgent care clinics that staffed eight full-time physicians, three full-time nurse practitioners, and four part-time physicians. Dr. Lee served as a Physician for Urgent Care Baptist Minor Medical in Memphis, Tennessee from 1997-2004 before accepting this promotion.
From 1981-1997, Dr. Lee owned and operated his own Family Physician practice in Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada. This office based Family Medicine practice specialized in Obstetrics, Emergency Room On-Call services, Hospital Admissions and ongoing Hospital Care, house-calls, and Nursing Home care.

Prior to his career as a physician, Dr. Lee was a Captain in the Canadian Royal Navy where he served as a Crew Commander and pilot for the Submarine and Coastal Patrol from 1969-1974.
Chief Financial Officer
Rob has held numerous financial leadership positions in his more than 15 years in the accounting and finance fields. In these capacities, he worked predominantly in public accounting and developmental stage companies where he helped to ensure the organization’s financial stability and procure both debt and equity capital from leading firms to assist in growing the companies. Rob’s duties at FastMed include the management of all accounting and finance functions. He is responsible for providing internal and external reporting to the Board of Directors and management team. Prior to joining FastMed, Rob served as the Chief Financial Officer of NextCare, Inc. Rob is regarded as an industry leader and has been a featured speaker at the Urgent Care Association’s annual convention. Rob began his career in public accounting at the New York office of Deloitte and Touche, LLP (now Deloitte). He earned an MBA with a concentration in accounting from St. Francis College and a BS in accounting from the University of Phoenix.
A gold medalist at the Pan Am and Goodwill Games in karate, Rob teaches karate to children and adults through a nonprofit center, in addition to coaching his children’s flag football teams.
Jason A. Williams, MPAS, Ph.D
President and Chief Executive Officer, Eastern Region
Jason founded Urgent Cares of America (the predecessor to FastMed) in 2001 and developed the initial thesis on staffing, service offerings and the innovative use of Physician Assistants in Urgent Care. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the company from 2001 until October in 2010. During that time, he was responsible for raising capital for growth, talent recruitment and retention and systems selection and optimization. Jason led the process of finding capital sponsor Comvest and worked closely with the new team of executives to set the strategy for growth that FastMed has experienced to date. He serves on the Board of Directors of FastMed today. Jason received his BS and BHS from Methodist University in Cellular Physiology and Allied Health Care in 1998, received advanced training in orthopedics and general surgery at Yale University / Norwalk Hospital in 1999 and received his Masters in Allied Healthcare from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine in 2004. He is the recipient of the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year award and 2010 Movers and Shakers award published in the North Carolina Business Leader Magazine for top performing North Carolina Professionals who are leaders in their industries. In 2010, Methodist University awarded Jason a Doctorate of Humanities degree (honoris causa) for his work as a disruptive innovator in Healthcare and for his philanthropic undertakings in the health care field. In May of 2013, the Triangle Business Journal awarded Jason with the 40 under 40 award recognizing outstanding professionals under the age of 40 in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill region. In March of 2014 Jason was awarded the Healthcare Heroes Rising Star Award by the Triangle Business Journal.
Jason lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three daughters. He played varsity soccer and football while at Methodist University and extends his passion for medicine to his mission work all across the globe.
John F. Randazzo
John has spent more than 30 years in the health care and technology fields. He brings vast experience in executive leadership to his role as Executive Chairman of FastMed's Board of Directors. Prior to joining FastMed, John was CEO of Touchstone Health Care, a managed Medicare company with more than 100 million dollars in revenue, and served as CEO of BenefitPoint, an employee benefits technology firm. John’s executive experience also includes being President and CEO of Women's Health Connecticut, Inc., a services-based physician practice management and infertility organization, and President and CEO of Value Oncology Science, a specialty health care provider. John was a co-founder of Value Health Inc., and oversaw the firm’s acquisitions and product development. At Managed Health Network, a behavioral health company that he co-founded and is now owned by Health Net, John served as COO and CFO. He also serves as a special advisor to Warburg Pincus, LLC.
Earlier in his career, John held positions at CIGNA where he was responsible for product development, healthcare insurance acquisitions and technology investments. John earned an MA in economics from the University of Texas and an MA in international business from Columbia University. He holds a BA in economics and political science from the State University of New York.
John also serves as an Operating Partner to Comvest Partners. John has been an active member on the Board of Directors for his community’s high school and on several international philanthropic organizations.
