Kyle A. Bohannon

President & Chief Executive Officer


Kyle previously served as the President of FastMed Urgent Care after joining the company in 2010. Throughout his career, Kyle has held leadership positions in the health care, private equity and investment banking sectors, with responsibilities including operations, senior management, mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Kyle spent multiple years in the private equity industry with HarbourVest Partners, LLC in both Europe and the United States. Upon joining HarbourVest's Boston-based direct investment group, Kyle relocated to London to help establish the firm's international direct investment team. His leadership responsibilities included identifying and managing leveraged buyout and growth equity investments and teams across multiple industries.

Previous experience includes several years in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley, where he focused on both mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Kyle received a BA in Political Science from Amherst College, where he was a four-year member of the men's varsity lacrosse team.

In addition to serving as Chairman of the FastMed Charity Committee, Kyle is active in the community as a leader within the Special Olympics organization and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training.

Christopher M. Bird

Chief Operating Officer


Chris previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Tenet Healthcare-owned Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Arizona Heart Hospital (NYSE: THC). Prior to joining Tenet , Chris held the position of CEO of ReachOut Healthcare America, the largest national provider of administrative support services to affiliated dentists in the mobile dental industry with operations in 24 states. Chris also served as President of RehabCare, the largest contract therapy services company in the U.S. with $1.3 billion in annual revenue and 20,000 employees throughout 2,000 hospitals and skilled nursing facilities spanning 46 states. Earlier in his career, Chris served as Vice President of Operations, Outpatient Services Division with Tenet Healthcare and as Western Divisional Vice President for DaVita HealthCare Partners (NYSE: DVA).

Chris earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, an MPH with a Health Policy and Management concentration from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Paul L. Chabot

Chief Information Officer


Paul has held numerous technology leadership positions (including three CIO roles) throughout his 20 years of experience in the IT field. In these capacities, Paul has built multiple IT teams for small and large organizations. His breadth of experience ranges from start-up firms to “Big Six” consulting to business IT responsibility for a Fortune 50 health care organization. Paul has experience in a variety of industries, including insurance, third-party administration, medical centers and health care provider practice support. Paul’s responsibilities at FastMed Urgent Care include management of all IT related infrastructure, applications, and partnerships. He is responsible for providing internal and external technology resources and ensuring secure and reliable access to all of the firm’s information and services.

Paul holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut; he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island. Paul and his wife are proud foster parents through the Connecticut Department of Children and Families.

Carrie A. Demery

Senior Vice President, AZ Operations

Carrie Demery

Carrie previously served as Vice President of Operations in Arizona since the completion of the Advanced Urgent Care acquisition in 2014. With 27 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Carrie has developed an impressive background in the urgent care industry. She also gained significant experience in curriculum development throughout her tenure as Director of Allied Medical Programs for Kaplan University. Carrie holds leadership responsibility for patient service, operations, training programs, financial performance and administration throughout the Arizona urgent care clinic portfolio. Carrie successfully led the FastMed Arizona clinic integration following the Advanced Urgent Care transaction.

Carrie is a graduate of the Pacific College of Nursing. She also earned teaching credentials for Allied Healthcare from the State of California.

Michael P. Dunn, MD

Regional President and Chief Medical Officer, Arizona

Michael Dunn

Dr. Dunn is a Board Certified Family Practitioner in the State of Arizona with 17 years of medical experience in family practice, emergency care, surgery and urgent care. Dr. Dunn served as the Medical Director for Tri-City express care for seven years prior to leading a sale of the business to FastMed in 2011. He also served as the Chief Medical Officer for Medi-Min, a group of medical clinics operating in partnership with retail stores throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. Dr. Dunn has served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Surgeon in the Medical Corps for the past 15 years. Dr. Dunn received his BA in Spanish from Arizona State University and received his MD from the UAG College of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was certified to practice medicine in the United States through the Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College. His performed his residency in family medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in conjunction with the Urban Underserved Program, where his fluency in Spanish allowed him to work as a translator for many patients.

Dr. Dunn volunteers his time as a private pilot and physician to the Flying Samaritans organization.  This group provides volunteer staffing of physicians and pilots for free clinics in Mexico.

Sekhar Kommu, MD

National Chief Medical Officer


Dr. Kommu joined FastMed in 2011 and serves as Chief Medical Officer, Regional Medical Director and Director of Quality Assurance and Education. With extensive experience as a practitioner for private family practice groups, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Non-VA Care Program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Program Director of the Methodist University Physician Assistant Program.

Dr. Kommu is a member of the following associations:

Dr. Kommu received his BA in Chemistry from Austin College and received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Melvin G. Lee, MD

Chief Medical Officer, North Carolina 


Dr. Melvin Lee has served as Chief Medical Officer for FastMed Urgent Care in North Carolina since 2007. He is a Board Certified Family Practitioner with 26 years of experience in family practice, obstetrics, urgent and emergent care and occupational medicine. Prior to joining FastMed Urgent Care, Dr. Lee served as the President of Metro Memphis Physicians Group, a network of six urgent care clinics. Dr. Lee previously served as a physician for Urgent Care Baptist Minor Medical in Memphis, Tennessee from 1997-2004.

From 1981-1997, Dr. Lee owned and operated a family physician practice in Nova Scotia, Canada, which specialized in obstetrics, Emergency Room services, hospital admissions and ongoing hospital care, house-calls and nursing home care.

Prior to his career as a physician, Dr. Lee was a Captain in the Canadian Royal Navy where he served as a Crew Commander and pilot for the Submarine and Coastal Patrol from 1969-1974.

Brittany R. Loisel

Executive Vice President, Strategy


Brittany joined FastMed in 2011 and previously served as Vice President of Finance and Strategy. With an extensive background in the urgent care industry, Brittany began her career with NextCare Urgent Care after having served as a Player Development intern with the New York Giants. She holds leadership responsibility for internal and external strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, multi-departmental projects, provider credentialing and business reporting.

Brittany received a BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s varsity softball team.

Rob F. Oliveri

Chief Financial Officer


Rob has held numerous financial leadership positions in his more than 20 years in the accounting and finance fields. His previous experience includes predominantly public accounting and developmental stage companies, for which he helped to ensure the organizations’ financial stability, procure both debt and equity capital from leading institutional lending and private equity firms and assist in company expansion. Rob’s duties at FastMed include the management of all accounting and finance functions. He is responsible for providing internal and external reporting to the Board of Directors and management team. Prior to joining FastMed, Rob served as the Chief Financial Officer of NextCare, Inc. Rob began his career in public accounting at the New York office of Deloitte LLP. He earned an MBA with a concentration in accounting from St. Francis College and a BS in accounting from the University of Phoenix.

A gold medalist at the Pan Am and Goodwill Games in karate, Rob teaches karate to children and adults through a non-profit center, in addition to coaching his children’s flag football teams.

Jessica D. Pendola

Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Administrative Officer


Jessica has held numerous healthcare compliance leadership positions throughout her career, including Associate Compliance Officer for the Duke University Health System and Compliance Educator for OhioHealth. Jessica joined the company in 2012 and immediately led the initiative to position FastMed as the first (and largest) non-hospital based urgent care group to obtain The Joint Commission Ambulatory Care System Accreditation distinction.

Jessica earned both a Master of Business Administration degree and an undergraduate degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Amy P. Wilson

Senior Vice President, NC Operations

Amy Wilson

Amy joined FastMed in 2011 and previously served as Vice President of Operations in North Carolina. Upon joining FastMed, Amy worked closely with the Regional CMO to develop and implement clinical and administrative policies as well new programs. She holds leadership responsibility for patient service, operations, training programs, financial performance and administration throughout the North Carolina urgent care clinic portfolio. Amy has held numerous leadership roles throughout her 20 years of experience in the urgent care, family practice and occupational medicine industries. Prior to joining FastMed, Amy served as Operations Manager at NextCare, Inc. and as Practice Administrator at Primary Care Plus.

Amy received her Medical Office Administration and Healthcare Management degrees Central Carolina Community College. She received her Medical Assistant Degree through Allied Health-National Health Career Association.

John F. Randazzo

Executive Chairman


John has spent more than 35 years in the health care and technology fields. He brings vast experience in executive leadership to his role as Executive Chairman of FastMed's Board of Directors. Prior to joining FastMed, John was CEO of Touchstone Health Care, a managed Medicare company with more than $100 million in revenue, and served as CEO of BenefitPoint, an employee benefits technology firm. John’s executive experience also includes being President and CEO of Women's Health Connecticut, Inc., a services-based physician practice management and infertility organization, and President and CEO of Value Oncology Science, a specialty health care provider. John was a Co-Founder of Value Health Inc., and oversaw the firm’s acquisitions and product development. At Managed Health Network, a behavioral health company that he co-founded and is now owned by Health Net, John served as COO and CFO. He also serves as a special advisor to Warburg Pincus, LLC and as an Operating Partner with Comvest Partners.

Earlier in his career, John held positions at CIGNA where he was responsible for product development, healthcare insurance acquisitions and technology investments. John earned an MA in economics from the University of Texas and an MA in international business from Columbia University. He holds a BA in economics and political science from the State University of New York.

John serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for several international philanthropic organizations and as a Board Member for his community high school.
