portrait_WilliamsJason founded Urgent Cares of America (the predecessor to FastMed) in 2001 and led its growth to nine clinics throughout North Carolina, with more than 120 employees and serving over 100,000 patients. Jason received a BS in cellular physiology from Methodist University. He continued at Methodist to earn a BHS in Allied Healthcare. Jason completed his residency at Yale University, with training in general surgery and orthopedic surgery, and completed his medical education at the University of Nebraska where he was awarded a Masters in Allied Healthcare. Methodist University honored Jason with the Entrepreneur of the Year award for 2006, and bestowed upon him a Doctorate of Humanities for his business and philanthropic undertakings in the health care field.  

Jason extends his passion for medicine to his mission work in Africa and supports Methodist University’s mission efforts across the globe.

 
 
 
 

FastMed’s services address a wide spectrum of urgent care and family medicine needs. In addition to providing immediate walk-in attention for an injury or illness, FastMed provides routine services including flu shots and vaccines, occupational medicine and scheduled appointments for school or sports physicals.
