Michael P. Dunn, MD

President and Chief Medical Officer, FastMed Urgent Care, Arizona

Dr. Dunn is a Board Certified Family Practitioner in the State of Arizona with 12 years of medical experience in Family Practice, Emergency Care, Surgery, and Urgent Care. Dr. Dunn served as the Medical Director for Tri-City express care for 7 years prior to their acquisition by FastMed in 2011. For two years during this period, he also served as the Chief Medical Officer for Medi-Min, a group of medical clinics operating in partnerships with retail stores throughout the Phoenix area. Since the year 2000, Dr. Dunn has served in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Surgeon in the Medical Corps.

Dr. Dunn received his BA in Spanish from Arizona State University and received his MD from the UAG College of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was certified to practice medicine in the United States through the Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College. His residency in Family Medicine took place at the University of Nebraska Medical Center as part of the Urban Underserved Program where his near fluency in Spanish allowed him to work as a translator for many patients.

Dr. Dunn volunteers his time as a private pilot and Doctor to the Flying Samaritans organization. This group provides volunteer staffing of physicians and pilots for free clinics in Mexico.
