Summary

The Manager of Receivables and Reimbursement is responsible for the daily operation of Accounts Receivable and follow up functions. The Receivable and Reimbursement manager assists team members with payer collections and seeks solutions with their team to optimize performance. Skilled in the use and understanding medical billing software; knowledgeable of payer rules and payer/provider workflows that result in optimal reimbursement

Required Education

Bachelor’s or 4 years of relative experience and/or training in area; or proven medical billing experience within FastMed; or equivalent of education and experience.

Required Experience

Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, insurance billing guidelines and concepts. Good interpersonal skills and a basic understanding of team management concepts. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Practice velocity experience preferred
