Harrisburg’s Mayor Tim Hagler to attend FastMed’s Community Event April 7

Written by: Ahana Richards

FastMed Urgent Care is pleased that Mayor Tim Hagler of Harrisburg is coming to our community event in support of growing businesses.  Since 2000, Tim Hagler has led the Town of Harrisburg in his position as Mayor, serving four consecutive terms. He was elected to that post following thirteen years as a Town Councilman, which, in 1987, began his commitment to the municipality he calls home. During his tenure, Hagler has watched Harrisburg grow to more than 12,000 residents, helping to implement a variety of programs along the way, including the annual 4th of July Celebration, Christmas Tree Lighting and championship-winning youth football league.

A lifelong resident of Harrisburg, Hagler graduated in 1982 from Central Cabarrus High School and has raised a family of five children with his wife, Nancy. Hagler is a 1986 graduate of Gardner-Webb University and currently serves as Business Administrator for Weddington United Methodist Church in Charlotte.

Please join us for our free community event on Saturday April 7th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. across from Lowe’s foods in the old Hollywood Video.  We will have characters from Yo Gabba Gabba, a princess, gaming truck, Dino’s pizza, Bruster’s ice cream, racecar and driver Jeff Fultz, the Harrisburg Police Department, the Sherrif’s department, Kat Kountry’s 96.9 and more!
