Matt has considerable experience working in the field of sports medicine over the past 15 years. He earned his B.S. in Athletic Training from Ball State University in 1997. Matt continued his education by obtaining his Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant from Marquette University in 2005. He has since relocated to the East Valley and has worked in the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for the past 10 years in Arizona. Matt Overlin has set himself apart from other Physician Assistants by acquiring his Orthopedic Certification of Added Qualification.
Matt provides onsite medical coverage for Hamilton High School Athletics, Chandler Youth Football, and Aspire Gymnastics. In addition, Matt also travels internationally as a sports medicine provider for the US National Soccer teams. Matt has presented numerous sports medicine lectures at both local and national conferences and is proud to serve as preceptor to PA students from both AT Stills University and Midwestern University.
Matt calls Chandler home and during his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and his two children, Drew and Sam.
