Introducing FastMed telemedicine visits—direct video access to healthcare providers from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet. This service is a secure and convenient way to connect with FastMed providers when you need them most.
Note: Telemedicine appointments are currently only available for patients in North Carolina.
FastMed telemedicine visits aren’t right for every medical situation or appointment. However, there are a wide variety of times when a video call is appropriate and convenient. A video call could save you time if you need treatment for certain conditions including:
Always speak with your healthcare provider to make sure a video call is right for you and your situation. If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, a severe headache, broken bone or other serious problem, please go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.
Here’s all you need for your telemedicine appointment.
- A current iPhone or Android device*
- A strong, reliable home Wi-Fi network or 4G/LTE carrier such as Verizon, AT&T, T Mobile or Sprint
- As you register for the service, make sure you grant access to your microphone and camera, and opt to receive push notifications when prompted.
