FastMed Urgent Care offers students enrolling in school athletics
free sports physical at select locations for a limited time

March 1, 2012 – From now through March 31, FastMed Urgent Care will be offering free sports physicals at select locations for local students enrolling in sports at their schools.
Parents and students in the following communities can get their school sports physical at no cost and no obligation:
Burlington, Charlotte, Concord, Mooresville and Winston-Salem.
A sports physical is not the same as a regular physical as it geared toward assessing health and fitness of an individual related to a particular sport they are interested in playing.
When playing football, baseball, track, soccer or martial arts there’s always a risk of getting hurt, no matter which sport you play.
The state of North Carolina requires all students participating in athletics to receive an annual sports physical. FastMed Urgent Care’s physical meets the criteria of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. The physical must be completed by a Licensed Physician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
At FastMed Urgent Care you don’t need an appointment for these sports physicals, which usually consist of a health history and basic exam, and can be received by walking into a clinic anytime 7 days a week.
