Sara Routzahn

Sara Routzahn is the Primary Care provider at our Sanford, NC location. She brings over 19 years of RN experience and an additional 9 years of FNP experience. After graduating with an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing from North Georgia College and State University in 2004, Sara worked as an RN for several years in practice areas including medical surgical, cardiac, OR, and ER.

In 2013, Sara earned her Master in Science in Nursing, with an FNP concentration, from East Carolina University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Sara has worked as a Primary Care Provider and in Spine and Pain.

Her current list of credentials includes American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Board Certification, Certified Medical Examiner for the DOT, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Sara prides herself on being a team player who works well under pressure. Her top priority at FastMed is to provide quality comprehensive primary care care to patients in Sanford and the surrounding areas.

When she is not working, Sara can be found spending time with her two children and yorkie/beagle mix, Goose.
