Paul grew up in New Jersey and earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Rhode Island. During the summers he served as captain of the Upper Township Strathmere Beach Patrol where he instilled in his responsibility, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure—qualities that continue to shape his clinical practice today.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Paul served as a paramedic, gaining firsthand experience in emergency medicine and patient advocacy. He went on to complete his PA training at Drexel University in Philadelphia and has since built a diverse clinical portfolio spanning orthopedics, gastroenterology, urgent care, virtual care, and continuity practice. Paul’s commitment and his journey blends clinical excellence with his prior work with UNC Health and Duke Lifepoint.

Personal Information
Paul is a devoted husband and father of four daughters, as well as a proud dog owner, miniature schnauzer. He is an active member of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Apex, where he values community, service, and faith. He has enjoyed participating in Rotary Club and Italian Club festivities. An avid outdoorsman, Paul stays active through sports, beach outings, and spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Banner Elk, NC—where he finds himself closest to a piece of heaven.
