Seeking to increase access to more convenient quality health care in the 28 communities it serves throughout North Carolina, FastMed Urgent Care is expanding its hours of operation, effective December 1, 2012. The urgent care leader is also standardizing its hours at every FastMed clinic so that patient can count on the same great care at the same times no matter where they are in North Carolina.
“After listening to patients and staff, looking at our busy times, and the need to consistently communicate our operating hours, we decided to add time during the week and open earlier on the weekends,” said Jason A. Williams MPAS, Ph.D, Founder, President and CEO of FastMed’s Eastern Region. “As the leading urgent care in North Carolina, FastMed serves an important health care need, which is why we are constantly seeking ways to expand our services and access to the quality care we deliver every day.”
All FastMed North Carolina urgent care clinics’ hours of will be changed from their current times to:
Monday-Friday: 8am-8pm
Saturday-Sunday: 8am-4pm
Holiday Hours: 9am-4pm
(New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day)
All clinics will remain open 365 days a year.
FastMed’s online check-in hours will be:
Monday – Friday: 30 minutes after opening, 15 minutes before closing
Saturday: 1 hour after opening, 15 minutes before closing
Sunday: 2 hours after opening, 15 minutes before closing
For schools, community organizations and other public institutions that keep FastMed Urgent Care’s information available for urgent medical referrals, a flier is available for download at FastMed.com or at the nearest FastMed location.
This will also provide local businesses greater access and availability to FastMed Urgent Care for employees when they need immediate injury care for workers compensation cases.
