FastMed Urgent Care to Host Free Community Event Saturday, Oct. 27
10/17/12 – To celebrate the opening of FastMed Urgent Care in Chapel Hill, FastMed Urgent Care is inviting you to a free community event on October 27, from 11am-3pm at our new urgent care, located at the old headquarters of the Collier Cobb Prudential insurance brokerage, across from Caribou Coffee and Walgreens at 1407 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill, NC.
This family friendly event will feature photos with Dr. Kyle, FastMed’s community doctor mascot, the FastMed sponsored racecar and driver, as well as the famous Carolina Blue Fire trucks from the Chapel Hill fire department and police departments. Guests will enjoy free pizza and ice cream. There will also be a game truck, a balloon artist, face painting and more!
In addition to all the activities and food, FastMed will be raffling away free first aid kits with bandages, disinfectant wipes and gauze. Raffles will also include hand sanitizers, t-shirts and other fun prizes will also be available.
FastMed’s medical staff will be giving tours of the new urgent care clinic and answering questions. It will be a great opportunity to get to know FastMed’s medical providers.

The new clinic will offer school sports physicals, an onsite lab, x-rays, occupational health services and more. Local schools, sports and community organizations or non-profits can receive a free 5 gallon FastMed water cooler by request.
