Clayton, NC – February 23, 2015: FastMed Urgent Care, the largest urgent care provider in North Carolina and the third largest independent urgent care network in the U.S., has opened a second location in Garner, 52nd in North Carolina, and 87th nationally. The new FastMed Urgent Care is located at 220 US Highway 70 at the former site of Rapid Response Urgent Care.

The new Garner clinic will be in compliance with The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Accreditation in Ambulatory Health Care. Awarded to FastMed clinics in 2014, this seal highlights FastMed’s commitment to providing high quality healthcare to patients during and after their care. The clinic will be open 365 days a year, from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. Local residents will benefit from FastMed’s expanded operating hours and the expanded access to care through FastMed’s other urgent care locations. FastMed utilizes an industry leading electronic medical record (EMR) system and digital x-ray technology that can be accessed from any FastMed location across the country. This EMR allows coordination of care with specialists and family practice providers at your direction and at the conclusion of your visit instantly.
