Clayton, NC – August 25 – FastMed Urgent Care and Raleigh Rescue Mission have partnered to launch a Supply Drive to support the under-privileged needing supplies in Wake. The drive goes through September 15.
FastMed Urgent Care is collecting the following donation items for Raleigh Rescue Mission:
- General school supplies including: pens, pads, binders, backpacks, calculators and USB Jump drives
- Germ and illness prevention products for classrooms including: Kleenex, hand sanitizer, Ziploc bags and Clorox sanitation wipes to prevent the flu, strep and other contagious viruses and illnesses
- Healthy, non-perishable school snacks including: juice boxes, pudding and fruit cups
“The drive exemplifies the service performed by the FastMed Charity Committee, to positively impact the lives of individuals throughout the communities we serve,” said Kyle Bohannon, Executive Vice President, Strategy & Development and Chairman of the FastMed Charity Committee.
“Each donation directly impacts a individuals living right here in the Triangle,” said Leslie Millett, Director of Public Relations, Raleigh Rescue Mission. “The number of FastMed locations in the community makes donating easy, convenient and quick, with FastMed clinics just around the corner open late every day.”
Throughout Wake County, residents who choose to donate may stop in at any FastMed Urgent Care, 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, and 8am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday, to officially donate to the back to the supply drive. FastMed Urgent Care has ten convenient locations throughout the triangle, with the following 5 participating in the supply drive.
