Urgent Care Express rebrands as FastMed Urgent Care

Public invited to grand opening as FastMed

Phoenix, AZ, August 11, 2011 — Urgent Care Express (a.k.a. Tri-City Express Care, PLLC) announced today it will change the name of its five locations in the greater Phoenix area to FastMed Urgent Care (see location addresses at the end of this release), which is an urgent care group owned by Comvest Group, a leading private investment firm.  The rebranding is the final step in an acquisition that was announced this past February.  Each location is hosting an open house on August 20 from 9:00am to 4:30pm, where guests can get a free blood pressure check, receive free gifts, meet and ask general health care questions of the FastMed medical professionals.

We are changing our name, but it’s still the same great quality care, personal attention and dedication to the community that our patients and neighbors have come to expect of us,” said Michael Dunn, M.D., chief medical officer of FastMed Arizona.  “We are very excited about the lively, upbeat FastMed brand, and hope our regular patients and other neighbors throughout our community stop by one of our locations for our grand opening as FastMed to meet our team and receive some free gifts!”

Starting August 10, internal and external signs will begin to change to FastMed, as well as the interior collateral, staff scrubs and other visible changes.  The website will also switch to fastmed.com, where visitors can get in line online before ever going to the clinic in most locations, pay bills online, watch FastMed health videos, get the latest in health tips and breaking health news, and visit the medical
library for even more answers to their health questions.

With extended hours 365 days a year, patients should still think of FastMed Arizona for urgent care, family medicine, flu shots, school/sports/work physicals, Workers Comp injuries, onsite lab/X-ray/Rx, and more, as well as the special FastMed Savings Plan for those without health coverage.
